2nd November - England World Cup Tickets: SECURED



A jolt of excitement surged through my veins this morning, when, midway through work, I received a message from a mate who lives/works in Qatar, urging me to check my phone immediately. I was midway through a session and couldn't react fully, but slyly navigated my way to my notifications and realised the magnitude of what just happened. I wanted to scream with excitement but had to limit my emotions in front of these room full of people, so bubbled away quietly with joy until I could release the beast shortly after. Having already secured a hat-trick of tickets for World Cup matches involving the likes of Denmark, Germany, USA, and Wales, the holy grail had now emerged...




Tickets for England's opening match of the World Cup, against Iran. I'm not quite sure how he managed to grab them, especially now so close to the tournament, but I'm certainly not complaining! I'm now also hoping we hear the official submission of England's squad numbers pretty sharpish, as surely a GREALISH/FODEN/SAKA printed shirt (the new red away one) is a must, for this momentous occasion! It is almost poetic, really. My bond with this particular chum started all the way back in 2009, through a shared joy of football. Now, 13 years later, we are coming full circle by attending an England World Cup game together. To some, that might not seem like a big feat, but to me, it's one of the most joyous moments of my life so far. Only one question remains... Is it...
