23rd December - The BEST Christmas Dessert?

When it comes to Xmas dinner, the main men are clear. Yorkshires, mash, roasties, gravy, parsnips, sprouts, pigs in blankets, meat. But when it comes to Crimbo desserts, the fans are divided. Whilst many plump for the traditional Christmas Pud (not really a favourite of mine, personally, on account of heartburn), others might opt for a strawberry trifle, a pavlova, a strudel, or a gateaux. Once again, I'm not particularly fussed by any of these choices. However, I can be rather partial to a yule log, or more specifically, anything cold and/or dairy.

Ice cream, CHOCOLATE trifle, or even custard over mince pies. Anything wet, tickles my fancy. Truth be told, I'd happily sit and destroy a pack of 4 x Munch Bunch on Xmas Day if you'd let me. And yes, the quality of today's diary entry has dwindled somewhat, but it is Christmas and quite frankly, there are only 8 more days of this blog left, ever, so excuse my lack of energy. In the mean time, why not let me know what your favourite Xmas dessert is? Tweet me @journojake or write a letter to:
