19th December - Is This Man The World's Biggest Laughing Stock?
Around 5 or 6 years ago, a sleaze-bag by the name of Nusret Gokce (somehow) became a viral internet sensation for sprinkling sodium on the food of his diners with a weird technique which saw most of it end up sliding off his greasy elbow and into their food. He earned the nickname 'Salt Bae', and most of us assumed that would be that, and his 15 minutes in the spotlight would soon come to an end. Fast forward to 2022, and the Chef with the lop-sided mouth was inexplicably present on the field last night during the celebrations of Argentina's World Cup triumph.
As if the eye-watering costs of his restaurants, where his £20 cans of red bull and £19 sweetcorn cobs, weren't enough to extend the self-indulgent narcissist's level of fame further, the Argentinian players glanced around with bewildering looks upon their faces, as he gatecrashed their party, attempting to take selfies with the Jules Rimet trophy. He has, today, quite rightly been criticised for such a move, using the achievements and career highlights of players like Emi Martinez and Angel Di Maria as a way of extending his own brand and media presence. Furthermore, he broke the most important unwritten rule...
If you don't win the World Cup yourself, you're simply not allowed to touch it. But that didn't stop the little Turkish midget, once again hiding behind his tiny little sunglasses, from snatching the trophy from players and forcing them to perform his 'salt bae' hand movement with it. Whilst many looked annoyed to say the least, Lionel Messi was having none of it, and a video has been circulating of him actively shrugging off the persistence of Nusret, who wouldn't leave him alone in his search for a selfie. Once again, the small dick energy of this vertically challenged prat was all too plain to see for viewers back home, who took to Social Media to criticise his blatant little man syndrome (A disease which could also be levelled at those who choose to eat in his 'Oooh-look-at-me-for-the-'Gram' restaurants). Congratulations to Nusret Gokce. On a night when Lionel Messi proved himself as the World's greatest...
... 'Salt Bae' confirmed his spot as the World's biggest laughing stock.
