15 September - My view on the Royal Family

First of all, I'll start by openly declaring that I'm certainly no 'Royalist', but I am a fair person. I've never bothered to watch any of their weddings, or jubilees, coronations, or funerals. Truth be told, aside from William & Harry, I couldn't even tell you of many of their names, especially the latest generation of kids. But like many of you, I've been blown away by seeing the queue to visit the (now ex)-Queen's coffin. Firstly, I'm baffled as to why they've not called this 'The Elizabeth Line', but also, I'm seeing some fellas stood back there for hours... Like, we're talking all day. I can just about understand it at Thorpe Park, but you're not even getting to ride the Nemesis Inferno on this one, you're just strolling past a block of wood with a skeleton in it.

One bloke on the news was camping outside Buckingham Palace, and remarked that he was doing so for the entire 10 days of mourning period. He was unshaven, looked groggy and probably reeked like a tramp. Plus I don't wanna know if/where he's taking his shits. I have no problem, by the way, with people paying their respects. A funeral is a natural part of any grieving process, and though most/all of these people queuing in (according to latest sources) a line which is now 2.4 miles long, didn't actually know the former Queen personally, I can understand their eagerness based on the fact the media manipulated them into thinking she was an important part of their lives. I'm not sure if they're allowed to touch the coffin? But I hope they are. After all, as British taxpayers, they paid for it.

I only judge people on their morals, their behaviour, and their actions. Whether 'Royal Family' or some homeless folk on a park bench. My respect towards them is then issued accordingly. What we know about Elizabeth is that she paid a huge sum of money, (again, not technically 'her' money as her life was funded by the public, but let's not get into that now), to protect an 'alleged' nonce. I say alleged, but come on, look at him, look at the evidence, I think we all know... This one's about as obvious as OJ. Yes, he's her Son, but if you are openly choosing to protect a paedophile from the closest form of justice we currently possess (imprisonment, though in my book, bringing back capital punishment would be suitable for these monsters), then you lose my respect... Whether you've got a crown on your head or not.

As for our current King, I'll not get into the politics of who killed Diana, I'll let you do your own research there... But what we can say, as a reported fact, is that he cheated on his Wife. Not just once, but for years and years and publicly humiliated her via his affair. Once again, whether your face is on my currency or not, I can't respect you if you've taken vows of marriage but then decided to be unfaithful towards that person. Such actions are despicable, and hence I deem you as vermin, regardless of the circumstance. I can't really say a bad word about William, as far as I'm aware, he's not acted in such heinous ways as his Father and Grandmother. Whilst all Harry has ever done is protect his family, and has somehow been vilified for it. As the Sex Pistols once said, God Save The Queen...

... The Fascist Regime.
