14th July: Andrew Tate... Hero or Villain?

For those of you familiar with TikTok, or even those of you who aren't... A common denominator has divided opinion in recent times. Former kickboxer Andrew Tate has become a truly 'viral' mouthpiece, thanks to his outlandish opinions on social media, consequently now earning him a spot as one of TikTok's most watched, and followed, accounts. You might not even be familiar with his name, but you'll sure as hell recognise his face, and signature American accent.

Andrew, however, is often embroiled in various controversies on account of his non-politically correct view on the modern world. On one hand, you have to admire a man who can speak so freely of his opinions, though on the other... His views can often cause drama, tension, and conflict, especially between the two genders. Amassing a fortune of more than $30m, all by the age of 35, Tate usually offers business advice, and tips to wanna be entrepreneurs and freelancers.

Tate, does, however, also provide somewhat brutal opinions on the relationships between men and women, and is known to offend when discussing important topics which some may find hard to digest, such as male suicide rates, depression, and a lack of equality between the sexes, with Tate pointing out that the modern world is now heavily geared towards favouring women, and pandering to feminist viewpoints, now leaving men as the true victims of modern society. Attached is an example of the type of video he posts, which is known to get certain sectors of the internet into a twist. Today, I leave you with the question, is Andrew Tate a hero...

... Or actually, a villain?
