2nd April - This is where the fun begins!

First and foremost, I'll be giving my thoughts on yesterday's World Cup draw, at the start of next week, because there's a few things I'd like to get off my chest regarding that topic, and I don't wish to 'contaminate' today's post with such a varied mud-blood of subjects. But one suspects, that the usual suspects will make up the latter stages of the tournament. France, Brazil, England, and one other are the hotly tipped candidates to make the Semis, though quite whom that 'other' is, in anyone's guess. Germany, Spain, Belgium, Argentina, Netherlands, and Portugal will all fancy it. Though don't be surprised to see Senegal or Denmark make a shock surge through proceedings in Qatar.

Anyway, back to today, and it's Turtle Bay time (again)! The bottomless brunch is calling my name once more, though let's hope this time is more successful than my last trip to the Jamaican-themed paradise, as I managed to pick up a second bout of COVID in amongst the 'Rum Runners' and 'Tingalings'. Today also marks the return of Premier League football to our screens for the first time in a fortnight, so all in all, it's looking like a pretty nifty Saturday, truth be told.

As for tomorrow, I'm off to an unbelievable hotel for the night. One which has been on my bucket list for some time now. There's even a jacuzzi in the en suite, so that's gonna have to get taken advantage of. This is - to quote Anakin - where the fun begins, actually, as my next few weekends consist of flights and trips, all sandwiched between the big Fury vs Whyte clash at Wembley. April's looking immense and I'm absolutely here for it. Now all we need is for the weather to snap out of full bipolar mode and choose one constant state between Sleet, or, in true Liam Gallagher style... Sunsheeeeine. In fact, as tomorrow's hotel is north of the Birmingham border, let's end with a banger from everybody's favourite Mancunian (sorry G-Nev)...

... Take it away 'our kid.
