16th April - Free Chicken Pittas for Everyone
It's another gloriously Sunny day... So I'd better close this blind behind me to eradicate any glare on my laptop screen. I've got a free afternoon to myself today so my day is set consist of catching up on all those emails and admin jobs I've been putting off. To aid my concentration, I'll be perching myself in front of the TV and switching between a rather splendid blend of the World Snooker Championships, which kicked off at Sheffield's 'Crucible' this morning, and the eagerly anticipated semi (steady!) between Liverpool and Man City at Wembley later this afternoon.
I'm also planning on watching a vast variety of the sets from Ultra 2022 now that they're all uploaded in glorious HD on YouTube. I'm currently mid-way through Alesso as I type this, with Garrix, Tchami, Guetta, Fisher, and Heldens all lined up for later today. One of the pieces I'll be writing today through my afternoon of productivity is a summary of my favourite PlayStation (or 'PS One' as it later became known) games of all time. Am I a geek? Perhaps. Do I regret it? Absolutely not.
In fact, I recently wrote a similar piece centring around the N64 which has been trending fantastically across t'internet, so check it out if you get a moment! Also today, I'll be finalising the poems which will make the cut into my upcoming anthology (available on Amazon and (possibly not) all local retailers).
Since January, I've been setting myself a target of writing at least one new poem per week, and am now left with a somewhat eclectic catalogue which needs whittling down into some sort of final selection. In other news, I may potentially haver some exciting news to announce soon regarding a potential collaboration with an esteemed Ibiza brand. Of course, at this point, it's worth noting that if/when I ever become elected as some sort of official ambassador for the White Isle, my first policy is clear...
