12th April - Vaccination Day

It's time to roll up thy sleeves (both metaphorically and literally) today as I hop back onto 'the work wagon' and face the daunting mountain of my email inbox. Though luckily, the day shall be pierced by an interjecting in the nurse's office, as I receive my vaccinations for my upcoming volunteering mission in Ghana. Quite frankly, I didn't realise just how many were needed for entry into Accra, but it's a Long Island Iced Tea concoction of remedies which will be plunged into my bicep today, including: Hepatitis, Tetanus, Yellow Fever, Diphtheria, Meningitis, and Malaria.

The need for another meningitis is alien to me actually, as I remember having that one already, when I was at School. We all queued up alongside the school hall, and then Rhys Edwards punched me in the arm after 'for a laugh'. Twat. His Mum carted him off to a private school shortly after that. Serves him right. In fact, I think that was the same afternoon we had sex education class. Mr Phillips would come in, and all the girls would go off to one room with Mrs Revel, and talk about periods. And us boys would stay with Sir, and he'd show us how to put a condom on. It was really embarrassing... All of us sat there, waiting for him to get hard.

Anyway, back to today... Feel free to disagree with me, bit if you're anti-vac, you're a moron. I don't mean that in an abusive way. I just mean it as a fact. A 'moron' by definition, is 'a stupid or foolish person'. Now let's pair that with the scientific evidence which shows vaccines successfully working for their intended purpose (again, not an opinion. Just as simple-a-fact as stating that rain occurs via clouds using evaporation from sea water etc). To believe something which has been proven to aid healthcare, is somehow detrimental to overall health, does sadly confirm moron status. And on that note...

... I'm (in the words of Katie Price) off to get filled with various fluids.
