Racial Conflict Lies Solely at Griffin-Door

Nervous, clammy, and poking his tongue out regularly to moisten his dry lying lips, BNP leader Nick Griffin resembled a lizard as he sat in his seat on BBC One's "Question Time." - Though if his words were to be believed, it was a chameleon he should really have been compared to.

It's the story that's got the nation talking as Griffin, 50, appeared (in highly controversial circumstances) on the political panel show last night, trebling it's viewing figures to more than eight million in the process. I for one, am GLAD that Griffin appeared on the show - because now everybody can see just how small-minded, ignorant and vile this man is and how everything his party stands for is filth.

'British National Party?' - What's 'British' or 'National' about a party that rejects the very founders of it's civilization? As one black british male in the front row at QT pointed out, the reason Britain emerged victorious in both world wars was down, in large, to the help we recieved from many black and asian soldiers. From where I'm standing, all I see is Bigot Nazi Politics.

I would be worried about slander. About 'defaming' a man in so-called 'power' and getting sued, though considering this is a man who apparently denied the existence and origins of the holocaust, I don't really believe I could 'lower' or 'damage' his reputation any further!

Okay Mr.Griffin, I have a question for you. This is your own personal Question Time with Jake Gable.... if the holocaust never happened, where did SIX MILLION innocent jews suddenly disappear to? A 'special' holiday? Because I can tell you now, not even Thomas Cook could accomodate that many!! Millions of lives were affected, history itself was changed forever, and a whole religion was culled because it didn't fit in with Hitler's idea of a perfect aryan nation.

Dead babies Nick, dead. Brutually slaughtered and gassed. All because of the ethnic or religious background of their mothers or fathers.

Admittedly, Griffin would not be gassing those of an ethnic minority if he came to power, but everything his party stands for is the equivalent.

Last night, Griffin was seen smirking and laughing at various accusations being thrown at him. He defended his proposed pledge to deport 'all non-caucasians' from the country - by serving up a large slice of xenophobia! As if that was an okay alternative?! Griffin told viewers "It has nothing to do with colour. I'm talking about England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland" - So, you think you can defend your racism by declaring you wish for no foreign members to be in the country? Most Poles are white, most Hungarians are white, same with French or Belgian citizens. Yet Mr.Griffin proposes we deport thousands of families living here, families who are just as 'British' in the sense of the word as you or I. All because of their country of birth! Quite frankly, his proposed views are absolutely unbelievable!

I even heard a conversation about last night's show in the pub today as one clearly igonorant man with balding hair and a large beer belly proclaimed to his fellow facist friend "Well I was working on a building site untill recently. But I tell you what the problem is Tel, it's all these Poles coming over her, stealing our jobs!" - At which point, I couldn't help but think.... a Polish man comes to England, can't speak the language, has no friends, and yet on his first day in the country, he takes your job?! You must be SHIT!

Griffin also went onto slam civil partnerships, and Islam, and subsequently, I ask this question to you, the Great British public.... When we he realise we are ALL the same? Gay, Black, Asian, Indian, Caucasian, I could not care less!!! We are ALL human beings, and we are all in this together! Griffin said he "wasn't a Nazi" yet all his views echo that of Hitler himself. A nation dependant on race and ethnicity? It all sounds a little too familiar, and I would've thought by now that this disgusting little man would have realised it has no place in modern society. Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Winston Churchill himself. Everything these men fought for, everything they stood or stand for, is being undone by the BNP.

You see, like Luther King, Nick Griffin has a dream. Though his dream is of an all-white, highly right-wing, racist nation. If it was down to him, Rosa Parks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosa_Parks) wouldn't have even been sitting on that bus.

Last night, Griffin was shown up, embarassed and belittled by the sheer idiocy of his claims. This is after all, a man who claims the Klu Klux Klan are 'not violent' - It appeared to me that Griffin is not only a revolting human being (toning down his behaviour on QT to try and appear "the victim") but that he has the mind of a child. His views are incoherent and his claims are a series of rambling oxymorons and contradictary statements.

David Dimbleby showed furthermore why the BBC entrust him with the role of 'poltical umpire' and Jack Straw proved he was the Roger Federer in this game of political tennis, batting away Griffin's claims with a relative ease and demure, and serving well to put the BNP leader on the back-foot on numerous occasions.

In conclusion, I believe the BBC were 100% right to let Griffin make an appearance on the show. Though many argue his presence on the panel was like 'Christmas morning' for his party in terms of boosting their profile (and I agree with this claim), not all publicity is good publicity and I strongly suspect the BNP would have lost more voters than it would have won in the aftermath last night's debacle as Griffin was shown up for the idiot he really is. The moment the BBC starts to ban the likes of Griffin from our screens, they sink to his level, using propaganda and censorship to try and influence our views.

The BNP? They are the only thing in this country that make me ashamed to call myself 'British' or 'National.'
